The SMARTDROME project aims to develop a laboratory training program to demonstrate the basic principles of Genetics using Drosophila melanogaster as model.   

The Project is designed in three phases:

PHASE I: EXPLORATORY

The Phase I will collect data for the design of a model Drosophila melanogaster laboratory capable of demonstrating the basic principles of Genetics.

PHASE II: DEVELOPMENT

Phase II will  develop a Drosophila melanogaster laboratory using the model designed at phase I.

PHASE III: IMPLEMENTATION

Phase will implement the program developed at phase II.
